Azhikode-Mohanlal on Thilakan controversy

The veteran social critic Sukumar Azhikode criticised Mohanlal for endorsing jewellery and found fault with him for coming to the defence of Mammootty. He also laughed at Mohanlal for his dance with small heroines. He mentioned also in a press meet that Mohanlal is comenting by looking at the breast of Hema Malini and saying "Kalakki".

Mohanlal told reporters that 'I told him to leave me alone. Even Amitabh Bachchan endorses products. I see the statements from Azhikode as those made by an old man. He also advised (me) to settle the present controversy. I replied I have nothing to do on that and it has to be done by AMMA,' .

Kerala Culture Minister M.A. Baby told reporters that there were a few film-based organisations and if all were willing, the government would intervene.

    Mr.Azhikode has no other job that he grabbed this opportunity to spoil reputations of mohan lal and mammootty. ask him something about malayalam cinema and i am sure he will stop these nonsense as he never watches movies. he is fishing out of nothing. no azhikode, no thilakan or no vinayan can ever compete with the tallents of our own mammookka and lalettan and the all practise is out of pure jealousy.
