Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada Cine Actress Navya Nair (நவ்யா நாயர்) got married with businessman Santosh N. Menon at Cheppad near here on Thursday 21-01-2010.
The wedding, conducted between 12 p.m. and 12.30 p.m. at the C.K.H.S.S. Grounds, Cheppad, was attended by over 1,500 people, including several film stars such as Suresh Gopi, Thilakan, K.B. Ganesh Kumar MLA, KPAC Lalitha, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Divya Unni, Menaka Suresh, Sona Nair, Tamil actor and director Cheran, apart from CPI(M) State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan, Ministers G. Sudhakaran and Paloli Mohammedkutty, Kerala Congress (B) leader R. Balakrishna Pillai, among others.

Navya Nair, who began her movie career with the hit Malayalam movie ‘Ishtam (Dileep)’ in 2001 and went on to win the State Best Actress award the following year for her performance in ‘Nandanam’, has around five yet-to-be completed films in her bag as she tied the knot with Mr. Menon, vice-president of a Mumbai-based exporting firm and son of Narayana and Shantha Menon, originally hailing from Changanassery in Kottayam district.

Navya is good in academics and she had 91% in S.S.L.C and have successfuly carried both her education and profession. She has done more than fifty films in various south indian languages.She has recieved Kerala state award for her perfomance in Nandanam(2002) ,Kanne Madanguka(2005) and for Saira(2005) respectively.Her father Mr.Raju is a B.S.N.L officer and her mother Mrs.Veena is a teacher.
